The challenge
Each January the agency brings us a creative concept, and it’s usually ambitious, with budget, complexity and the calendar all tight. Over the years that agency has been WarnerMedia, then Turner Sports, and now Solomon Group.
The build is used once. But Capital One is the presenting sponsor, and its space sits on a floor full of exhibits built for repeat use, where brands have invested in fit and finish. Ours has to look better than all of them.
Our solution
We shape the design early to fit budget and complexity without losing the idea. Then we handle trade show graphics, scenic, LED and AV under one roof.
For the 2025 Men’s Final Four in San Antonio and the 2025 Women’s Final Four in Tampa, we built the Blimp Race. Two players go head to head, and every made basket speeds up their Capital One blimp racing on screen. Programming, animation, audio tracks, sensors and iPad control were all built in-house, and the LED wall and audio gear came from our own inventory.
Results
The agencies changed, from WarnerMedia to Turner Sports to Solomon Group, and Cadence stayed on as the build partner each time.
One-time builds, finished like permanent ones.
