Dua Lipa Lolapalooza Pop-Up

When Puma needed a high-impact pop-up at Lollapalooza to highlight its partnership with Dua Lipa, Cadence stepped in to make it happen—on an incredibly tight timeline. In collaboration with Faculty, Cadence provided design, engineering, fabrication, lighting design, audio-visual services, and installation to bring the vision to life.

The pop-up served as both an art installation and a sensory experience. It featured interactive machine vision-driven lighting and video, a vibrant mini club floor, and oversized Puma bag props that became instant social media sensations. While aligning artist conceptual ideas with the real-world constraints of the rental space posed challenges, Cadence used 3D software to validate as-built dimensions and rapidly adjust interior concepts to ensure a perfect fit.

Another highlight was the seamless integration of Touch Designer programming, live video, and lighting control, which created a dynamic, interactive environment that thrilled attendees. Despite the compressed timeline for fabrication and installation, the activation came together flawlessly.

The pop-up’s popularity was undeniable, with long lines of eager fans and a fantastic social media footprint driven by Dua Lipa’s appearance. Attendees shared photos and videos of standout features like the immersive interior branding and oversized props, amplifying Puma’s reach and solidifying the event as one of Lollapalooza’s highlights.
